Baltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde, 50, has been named the American League Manager of the Year after leading the Orioles to a district title.
Baltimore won the American League East for the first time in nine years since 2014 and reached the postseason for the first time in seven years since 2016.굿모닝토토 도메인
Hyde, who finished second in the 2022 Manager of the Year voting, moved to the top spot.
He becomes the fourth Orioles manager to win the award, joining Frank Robinson (1989), Davey Johnson (1997) and Buck Showalter (2014).
He is also the ninth manager to win the award without ever playing in the major leagues, joining Showalter, Jim Leyland, Joe Maddon, Jack McKeon, Jim Frey, John McNamara, Brian Snitker, and Mike Shields.

Bruce Bochy, who led the Texas Rangers to the postseason after returning from active duty, finished second with 61 points, including three first-place votes, 12 second-place votes, and 10 third-place votes.
Hyde and Bochy dominated the first-place votes in the poll.
Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash was third with 52 points, including two first-place votes and 13 third-place votes.
Rocco Baldelli (Minnesota), Dusty Baker (Houston), and John Schneider (Toronto) received votes.
