Bayern Munich’s injury ward doesn’t rest. Jamal Moussaoui has taken a spot.
The Bavarians announced on their official website shortly after the match against Galatasaray on Sept. 9 that Moussaoui had suffered a hamstring injury.
“Moussa Allah was forced off in the first 40 minutes of the match against Galatasaray due to an injury,” the club said, adding, “Head coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Moussa Allah has suffered a hamstring muscle injury and will miss the weekend’s match against Heidenheim.”
Munich earned a 2-1 victory over Galatasaray in the fourth leg of their UEFA Champions League Group A match of the 2023/24 season at the Allianz Arena on Sunday. Harry Kane scored back-to-back goals in the 35th and 41st minutes to hold off a late Cedric Bakambu strike in stoppage time.
Moussa Allah started the match. The hosts lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Alfonso Davies, Kim Min-Jae, Dayo Upamecano, and Nusair Mazrouei formed the back four in addition to Manuel Neuer in goal. Jozua Kimmich played up top. Leon Goretzka defended, and the second line was Kingsley Coman, Jamal Moussaoui, and Leroy Sane. Harry Kane started up front.
The visitors, Galatasaray, lined up in a 4-2-3-1. Fernando Muslera was in goal, while Angelinho, Abdulkerim Bardakci, Davinson Sanchez, and Sasha Boye formed the defense. Kaan Aihan and Lucas Torreira protected the defense, with Wilfred Zaha, Kerem Akhturkoglu, and Hakim Ziyech in the second line and Mauro Icardi up front.토토사이트
Moussa Allah wasted no time in showcasing his talents in the center of the park. His dazzling forward dribbling and breakthrough ability, combined with his accurate passing and shooting. As a result, Moussaoui has spearheaded Munich’s attack so far this season with four goals and three assists in 13 official matches, including two goals and two assists in seven Bundesliga games, despite being just 20 years old. He often linked up with Kane to break down Galatasaray’s thick defense.
In the 37th minute, Mbappe tried to break the defense to receive a through ball from Kane, but he suddenly grabbed his hamstring as he went through. Once play was stopped for offside, he immediately turned around and signed for the bench. He said he couldn’t play on his own.
Moussaullah was unable to do anything until the medical staff arrived. They came and assessed the situation and quickly called for a substitution. Tuchel immediately had Thomas Muller ready. Musiala walked off on his own, but he didn’t look happy.
With Musiala out, Munich had another injury to deal with. He joins Matthias Der Licht, Tarek Buchmann and Tom Hülsmann on the sidelines. Dayo Upamecano recently returned from a hamstring injury, but he’s still not fully fit. Against Galatasaray, he had to be replaced by Konrad Reimer in the 15th minute of the second half.
Even Leon Goretzka, who suffered a fracture in his left arm in October, underwent surgery and returned in the der Klassiker against Dortmund. Goretzka, whose left hand was still in a cast, played as a center-back partner to Kim Min-jae after Upamecano was ruled out of the match.
Meanwhile, while Munich’s victory over Galatasaray came at the same time as Manchester United’s 3-4 reverse at home to Copenhagen, which clinched their place in the round of 16 early. The Bavarians now have two matches remaining, against Copenhagen (home) and United (away).
