Tampa Bay Rays unveil lineup to face Hyun-Jin Ryu.
The Tampa Bay Rays have announced their starting lineup for their home game against the Toronto Blue Jays on April 24 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The Rays will start Yandy Diaz (first base), Harold Ramirez (left field), Curtis Mead (third base), Isaac Paredes (second base), Junior Caminero (designated hitter), Josh Lowe (right field), Manuel Margot (center field), Christian Betancourt (catcher), and Taylor Walls (shortstop).
Eight batters other than Lowe will face Ryu in the right field spot.
Randy Arozarena, who left the previous day’s game with a right quadriceps injury, did not start.
Manager Kevin Cash said in his postgame interview that Arozarena is “day to day” with the injury. He will start tonight’s game off the bench.
Caminero, who was called up ahead of the series as the Rays’ No. 1 prospect, will make his major league debut.
Tampa Bay has been strong against left-handed starters this season, going 22-9.
The Rays also announced a roster move today. The Rays placed infielder Brandon Lau on the disabled list with a fractured right kneecap.

Left-handed hitting outfielder Raimel Tapia was called up. In 59 games with the Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers this season, Tapia is batting .230 with a .308 on-base percentage, .338 slugging percentage, three home runs and 13 RBIs.
He signed a minor league deal with Tampa Bay last month and was batting .269 with a .371 on-base percentage and .414 slugging percentage in 29 games at Triple-A.
