Belt, who was scheduled to start at second base, was scratched from the lineup due to a lower back strain.

Cavan Biggio will bat second and Spencer Horwitz will start at first base in his place.

Belt was limited to one game in the previous three-game series against the Washington Nationals due to a back injury.
