The Toronto Blue Jays need a win, and the injuries keep coming. This time, it’s Brandon Belt.
The Blue Jays announced today that Belt will not start against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
Belt, who was scheduled to start at second base, was scratched from the lineup due to a lower back strain.
Cavan Biggio will bat second and Spencer Horwitz will start at first base in his place.
Belt was limited to one game in the previous three-game series against the Washington Nationals due to a back injury.
He returned to action in the three-game series against Colorado, starting the first game and going 2-for-5 with a home run, but was scratched and pinch-hit in the second game.온라인바카
